Nurul Alam, known as Apu, is a devoted library professional with BA (Hons.) & MA in Information Science and Library Management from the University of Dhaka. He began his career at the UN Information Centre, Dhaka and has built extensive expertise in library systems, web development, and professional training.
Since 2010, he has been the Bangla localization contributor of SLiMS and serves as Country Coordinator of SLiMS Bangladesh. He developed the BALID membership management system, LAB Members Directory, and websites for BALID, LAB, TLT, SLiMS-BD, AISLM-DU, and CIS-B. He received RFID training from 3M Singapore (2016) and an ITEC scholarship for advanced training in NITTTR Chennai, India (2018).
